Just some of our feedback from our courses…
Hi Sally,
I just wanted to write to say that the course with Tim was absolutely brilliant. He made the group of 6 of us feel incredibly welcome and at ease, he quickly assessed our skiing levels and adapted the programme to our abilities and the weather conditions, tackling bumps on day 1 (sunny), technical training on day 2 (foggy/snowing) and fresh powder and challenging off-piste on day 3 (mixed cloud levels). The technical feedback, supported by video, was relevant, specific and allowed focus on just a couple of areas, which transformed many of our skiing styles for the better.
Definitely money well spent and I would recommend this course to anyone.
Thanks for devising a great programme and sourcing a brilliant instructor.
All the best,
Darren Wilson – Morzine 18th January 2014 – Morzine
Hi, Becca and I are just back from our Morzine trip and I wanted to say thanks very much for arranging it. We had a fantastic time. Annie was great, lots of fun and a really encouraging instructor. I can’t think of anyone else who could possibly have got us to ski out of a slalom start hut, down a half-pipe, and with our eyes shut! Bumps, ice and thick mist were a breeze after that! And Andy and Sylvie and their team at Chalet Chery were absolutely great, nothing was too much trouble and everyone in the chalet had a super time. The whole trip went perfectly and we can’t wait to go back.
Thanks for all your help and I’m sure we’ll be in contact again… All the very best,
Bryan and Becca 3 day Performance January – Morzine 2014
Sally
Been meaning to mail you since I got back but ever busy! Just to say what a fantastic week it was…….. I’m sure the Inspired Team have already relayed how much everyone enjoyed it. The all day off piste tuition was brilliant – conditions were great so it mean’t we could take a picnic and just go out for the whole day. It really worked well and I can honestly say it was the best week’s skiing I’ve ever had. Dave was brilliant with the instruction (as all your gang are) and we just had one adventure after another. I fully intend to do it again next season.
Also, is there any chance that you might run courses in Austria? I was thinking of St Anton as there is such good off piste there and the atmosphere in Austria is just so good.
Thanks again Margaret Crook – Val D’Isere January 2012
Hi Sally,
I thought I would drop you a quick line to say how much I enjoyed the full day course at Val-d’Isere last week. Tim Jackson was excellent as ever, and I thought the full day format was great for the following reasons. Having more time meant, it was a more relaxed format as it meant that Tim didn’t have to look at his watch as often and allowed the group to get further away from base without having to scurry back.
We ended up having a late coffee break and then late lunch and that worked really well.
My only reservation was doing 5 days back to back was hard work, so I think a day off mid week would be ideal. However 5 days back to back happened to tie in with the weather conditions last week.
My overriding memory of last week will be the great snow and Tim poking the snow with his pole going ‘This is cracking’ and it was.
Kind regards
Lydia Swift – Val D’Isere 2013
Julie, I thought I'd drop you a line to say how much we all enjoyed our course. So much so that afterwards we agreed, all being well, we will definitely return December 2012. Natalie and Rob, Cheryl and Johnny, Nigel Briscoe and myself and William most definitely would like to return and the others in our chalet also said they would like to come back. Once the dates for 2012 are released will you let us know? We would quite like to return to Annapurna II to the rooms we had if possible. It worked really well for us. The chalet hosts Matt, Craig and Alex were superb. Very efficient and the food was excellent. All in all a great week, despite not being able to see anything on the mountain! Merry Christmas! Beverley Davies December 2012 Tignes Pre-season week
Just to quick email to say how much I enjoyed the two weeks of off piste courses. I feel to have made progress yet again, thanks to two consecutive and constructive weeks with Tim.The people at the Hotel Aigle were once again, exceptional hosts. All in all a most enjoyable and rewarding two weeks. Thank you very much.
Chris Cookson Dec 5th 2010 – Off Piste Performance, Tignes
Once again I write to thank you and the team for a wonderful 2 weeks in Tignes. Highlights included meeting Julie for the first time, skiing with Tim for 2 weeks and a superb free day in Cunei skinning up to the refuges, skiing the powder down to the valley and lunch al fresco in the sun.I hope to make it back this season, but nevertheless, I wish you all a successful season and of course a Happy Christmas and Guid New Year.
David Blanden Dec 5th 2010 – Off Piste Performance, Tignes
Following last week’s trip to Tignes, I just wanted to get in touch to pass on my thanks and appreciation for all the arrangements that were made to provide both a thoroughly enjoyable and productive holiday. The fact that the weather was wonderful and the slopes were quiet were also very positive factors, but with everything from the flights and transfers to the accomodation to the course itself running so smoothly, I certainly rate it one of the best, if not the best, skiing trips that I have participated in. To mention the course specifically, it was great to be able to meet the instructors throughout the week but in terms of the Level 3 group, please can I extend particular thanks to Bryan Hogg and also Martin who joined us during Tuesday. Bryan’s general method of instruction was very informative and delivered in a way that worked so well with all six members within the group. He also had a great character throughout the week and as we worked on our techniques, we also had great enjoyment at the same time. I was also greatly appreciative of the time that Bryan provided in the evening after the day’s skiing, where we discussed what we had learnt and also looked at the video footage taken on the slopes. By the end of the week, I felt that my own skiing technique had progressed a great deal and that was testament to the time that Bryan provided and the expert advice that he passed on. I will definitely be in contact again with INSPIRED to arrange a second trip, although the early season conditions in Tignes were exceedingly favourable, I always like tackling new areas so I may be inclined to try a different venue. I hope you both have a great Xmas, New Year and many thanks once again.
Graeme Hardie Dec 5th 2010 – All Mountain Performance, Tignes
I had a fantastic time in Tignes last week, thanks a million to you and Phil Brown! Conditions were brilliant (if a bit nippy!) and I could feel myself progressing every day. I thought the group gelled really well and it was great to meet some ‘old hands’ from last year. I’m now really looking forward to the Livery Ski Championships in Morzine next month where I can try and put my newly-learned skills to the test and hopefully bolster my team’s overall performance.
Caroline Brown 28th Nov 2010 – Taste of Race Course, Tignes
I just wanted to say thank-you very much for a very rewarding 2 and a half days. I ended up being taught by Sally Lee Duffy and she was incredible. Her ability to adapt to different levels and personalities was remarkable and I felt she really got the best out of us. I couldn’t imagine a better teacher. I appreciate that people always tend to feedback when things go wrong so I just wanted to rightful praise for incredible service. I will certainly be recommending the course to others.Kindest Regards Lizzie

If you knew me like my friends and work colleagues know me, then you’d be only too well aware that it takes a lot to impress me. The fact that I was moved to write to you last year to enthuse about the week’s skiing and about having such a great instructor in Dave Peek was highly unusual. It is wholly unprecedented that I feel it necessary to write to you again after this year’s week of skiing in Courchevel, to say that once more my expectations have been exceeded. Tim Jackson was our instructor this time and what a star he is! He succeeded in moving my skiing ability on to another level again. I would not have thought it would have been possible that by the end of the week I would have had the confidence to tackle a black run without the security of having an instructor close by. However, by Saturday that is exactly what happened – and successfully at that. Tim is very professional in the way he imparts knowledge, he is very adept at giving each member of the group individual attention, whilst at the same time having the knack of making the whole experience such great fun. I cannot praise him highly enough. It was also great that Dave Peek was in Courchevel again this year, continuing to show an interest. Work commitments won’t allow me to fit in another skiing holiday this year, but Tignes pre-Christmas is seriously on the cards so I will be keeping an eye out for when details become available. Thanks also to you and the rest of the team for all the arrangements enabling the week to be so successful. Your company ‘Inspired to ski’ is well named, because inspired I have been! Kind regards Susan
Susan H – Courchevel Jan 10 2010 All Mountain Performance.
I just a quick note to say everything worked out well last week. I had a great 2.5 days with Annie, building and improving on what I did with Elaine last year and trying out some new stuff. Annie’s a professional and I’d have no hesitation in taking another course with her. Many thanks for fitting me in at short notice. Best regards Barry MC
Barry McCullen – Morzine 3 day Performance.
I just wanted to say what a great week I had in Courchevel with Inspired to Ski a few weeks back (10 Jan). Great company and I was very lucky to have Dave Peek as my instructor for the week – he really made such a difference to my skiing and brought on the whole group no end, a really great instructor. There was definite improvement in all of us by the end of the week. I felt I had learned an awful lot from the week, not just in terms of technique but also getting my head round steep slopes! I’m off next week to Lech so I hope I can put into practice what I learned!Once again, many thanks and I’m sure I will be back next year. Cathy.
Cathy C – Courchevel Jan 10 2010 All Mountain Performance.
Just wanted to say thank you for two great weeks. We were we’ll looked after by the staff in the Aigle. The first week my instructor was Brian. I hadn’t skied with Brian before, but I had a really good week. He was so enthusiastic and provided great constructive criticism about my skiing, knowing exactly how to put across what I needed to do. The second week was with Rupert. I skied with Rupert a couple of years ago and so had high expectation of the week and I wasn’t disappointed. Rupert seems to have a knack for extending people and showing them what they can do.Excellent. It was great chatting to Angus, Tim and Dave over dinner too. You’ve got a really good team of instructors there. Once again many thanks. I’m looking forward to being able to book another trip. Happy New Year for when it arrives. Best wishes Chris

Hi Sally and Julie, I just wanted to say many thanks for another fantastic week in Tignes. We knew the instructors and the accommodation would be good from our last trip in 2007, but Angus, Bryan and the Aigle Skiworld team all exceeded our expectations. Somehow Angus managed to get me to ski cheerfully down steep, icy, bump-ridden slopes, and Bryan amazed us both by helping Becca overcome her phobia for ice! Please pass on our thanks to the guys for their superb instruction… And to cap it all someone managed to arrange perfect weather and virtually empty slopes – for most of the week anyway! I don’t know how you do it but please keep it up and we both hope to be back in the future… Thanks again,Bryan Hay and Becca Tallentire

Hi Sally/Julie, Just returned from your “Taste of Race” course in Tignes. It was magic!!! Phil Brown was a great trainer – my carving skills and confidence in speed have improved immensely. He pushed you, but encouraged at the same time with attention to skills/exercises that made the world of difference to your performance. The accom. at the Chalet Hotel Aigle was excellent. The staff were great and the food, wonderful. Pool could be warmer but the sauna was lovely! The transfers were great but the icing on the cake was the other participants – everyone mixed well and had such fun. Although we weren’t all doing the same course, and perhaps not all at the same standard but our passion for skiing was the common factor. Well done! Please let me know if you plan to repeat the course next year – if so count me in. The “girls” are all keen to return. We had such fun.
Jenny Selbie – Tignes 28th November 2009 ‘Taste of Race’.
Just wanted to say thank you and let you know that once again the Inspired to Ski course in Morzine has done the business. My little gang of four has returned home happy, sore and more confident than before. The weather was pretty grim, but Mr Tim kept us on our toes and getting down those hills [which we would never normally choose to go down] in his own inimitable style. There’s already talk of more of the same next year… Thanks a million and hope you all have a great season.
Karen, Ewa, Jo, Hannah, Morzine 17th Jan 09 Ladies weekend
I am literally just back from your ‘All Mountain course in Courchevel and I have had a totally fantastic time. Your ‘Inspired’ team were very welcoming along with the Mark Warner staff which made for a very enjoyable holiday. I had the pleasure of being instructed/coached by Brian and my thanks to him for giving me the confidence and tools to enable me to take my skiing on a level. I am sure the whole of our group felt the same. I am looking forward to putting this in practice as soon as possible and on my next holiday in March. I also look forward to my next inspired course which if, leave, finances and spaces allow, will be sooner rather than later. Equally my thanks to you and Julie for the preparation and information prior to leaving.
A. Cochrane, Courchevel 18th Jan 09.
Just back from Courchevel after 2 good weeks, good company and of course, good instruction. So just to say thank you (again). Out of curiosity, I looked back at what I thought of my first time with I2Ski on the Novice and Nervous course, constantly raising the bar, while working with a real care and concern to make sure each one of us has the opportunity to make the most of our time on the slopes. Which is exactly what it feels like this time round as well, so thanks to Angus again for making it all such a great learning experience AND lots of laughs and fun along the way.
Elisabeth Al-Khalifa Courchevel 11th – 25th Jan 09.
Just thought I’d send you this quick email to thank you very much for a brilliant week in Tignes 6-13th Dec08. It couldn’t have been better. The snow conditions were fabulous, the chalet was wonderful (as were the hosts and other guests) and the instruction was inspirational I was in a group with Al, from Val, for a couple of sessions and he’s excellent and then I moved up to ski with Rupert for 3 days which pushed me further and was just what I needed. On our second holiday in December all my fellow skiers commented on my improvement so I’m very happy. The video feedback was extremely helpful.
Wendy Grist, Tignes Course 6-13th Dec 08.
Just a note to say how much Pamela and I enjoyed our time in Tignes. Very relaxed and again with great instructors, Pamela enjoyed skiing with Dave Peek and he really helped her skiing, and again, I very much enjoyed the opportunity to ski with an instructor as good as Rupert. We felt that the Hotel Aigle staff really tried very hard, it is a pleasant chalet hotel and the standard of the food was good. We both really enjoyed our holiday and please do keep us informed of your plans for late Nov/Dec 2009 as we would certainly like to ski with your team again next year.
Chris and Pamela Hutt, Tignes Course 29th Nov – 6th Dec Dec 08.
Just to say Thanks for a second great course with Inspired to Ski. Dave Peeks was my instructor this time, and he was superb… a lot of fun, and I learnt so much again. The other guys on the course were great fun too, as was Keith at the chalet…. Anyway, thanks again for all your help in organising the course, passes, transfers etc, and I’ll be booking again next season!!
Shan McCarthy, Off Piste Perf/All Mountain – Morzine 08.
Dear….Big thanks to Annie and Dave are the most important thing – they were both brilliant. Ski-ing has never been such fun. Morzine next year – here I come. Meanwhile I have to try and fit in another week to consolidate… Life is hard!
Paul Rayner, Off Piste Perf/All Mountain – Morzine 08.
Hi INSPIRED, Just back from holiday. I thought I’d just let you know how brilliant the above course was. We all had a fantastic week. I can’t praise Annie and Dave enough – the balance between instruction and pure pleasure was perfect. Also, the chalet was excellent. Keith did a fantastic job of looking after us. Absolutely nothing could have been improved on for the whole week.! Thanks for organising the week for me Sally, and I will look forward to another course next winter. Brenda.
Brenda Smith, Off Piste Combination – Morzine 08.
I should have sent this sooner but with returning on the Sunday and straight back into work, a week seems to have flown by in 5 minutes. I had another fantastic week with good accommodation, good food and excellent instruction. I feel that over the couple of weeks I’ve skied this season I’ve made real progress and have a far better understanding of what I should be doing! Many thanks.
Chris Cookson, All Mountain/Off Piste Perf. Courchevel January 08.
Just a quick line to say how much I enjoyed the 3 day course, after a number of years of just drifting round the mountain to be pushed and challanged was just what I needed. Luke was absolutly brilliant, and his infectious enthusiasm made you want to master everything he showed you. I will even forgive him the 20 minute uphill hike on the last day, as the powder run down through the trees more than made up for it. Once again, thanks for a great course, and please pass on my thanks to Luke.
Adrian Coates, 3 day Performance Morzine, January 08.
Just wanted to say what a great week I had on the Novice and Nervous week in Courchevel. Marie was a fabulous teacher. I felt I learned an enormous amount, but also had lots of fun, which I wasn’t quite expecting (!). Marie combined a really rigorous teaching style – we were always doing little exercises that would come in useful later in the class – but all masked under an infectiously fun attitude. She really built on the group’s sense of achievement generally – she gave ‘something to say over dinner’, like ‘did some powder today’ or ‘did a black run today’ – OK, it was only the easy bit of the black run, but it was fun to have that on our ‘what we did this week’ list. I felt a got a huge amount out of the course, not just in terms of skiing, but also in general life lessons! It was a good group too, and we all really appreciated being together with others of similar ability, without anyone noticeably faster or slower than anyone else. Many thanks, hope to see you next year.
Claire Crocker Novice and Nervous, Courchevel January 08.
Dear Inspired, Becca and I have just returned from a week in Tignes, staying at the Chalet Hotel Aigle and skiing on the All Mountain course with Angus and Rupert, and we both had such a fantastic time I wanted to pass on our comments. Of course you couldn’t arrange the weather for us, but as I’m sure you already know we had a massive amount of snow for the first couple of days and then the sun came out and we had absolutely perfect conditions.
Both Becca and I found that skiing with Angus and Rupert in heavy snow and poor visibility on the first two days of the course, although difficult, actually proved invaluable, and made sure that we enjoyed skiing in the sunshine that much more. Angus and Rupert were both brilliant – we both feel our skiing has moved up a level, we’re both much more confident, and we both decided that as and when we want more instruction we’ll be contacting Inspired to Ski again. As we’ve had plenty of experience of both French, Italian and English ski schools in the past, we really appreciate the advantages of the approach which you use to training, and have gained a lot more from this week’s instruction than from any previous lessons. Please do pass on our thanks to both Rupert and Angus.
I’d also like to say how great the Aigle was. It’s an excellent chalet, very well situated, and extremely comfortable. The Ski World staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, and the food was excellent. When we return to Tignes I can’t imagine wanting to stay anywhere else.
Overall the whole experience completely exceeded our expectations (which were high before we set off) and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Thanks very much for a superb week’s holiday.
Bryan Haye, Becca Tallentire December 2007 – Tignes Pre-season course.
I thought I would email you with some feedback about last weeks course in Tignes. It was brilliant and I loved every minute of it! I will definitely be going on another course again next year sometime and even though I went on it by myself I didn’t ever feel like I was “by myself” so to speak which was great. I learned loads more than I had ever done previously in other ski lessons in the past and it has given me a lot more confidence now of how to ski in control properly on different bits of terrain rather than “winging it” like I did before and not really being safe. Definitely less tiring on the knees too I thought. I could never quite “get it” with lessons before so I’m well chuffed! Angus was my instructor, he was really fun but professional with it and he motivated me such a lot so thank you Angus. Thankyou, I will be back.
Emma Cole, December 2007 – Tignes Pre-season course.
Just to say a bit Thank you from both of us. We had a great trip to Tignes and met some excellent people. Dave Peek is a brilliant instructor and taught us loads. I was impressed with the Hotel, good accommodation for the price paid. Julie was very helpful and arranged things well in the resort for us. London City airport was very simple with no queues and very pleasant. Kris enjoyed his new taught ski;;, ‘the Ski Jumps’, he can’t stop talking about it. Many thanks again we’ll look forward to the next trip.
Gary Quigley and son Kris, November 2007 – Tignes Pre-season course.
Just to say how much I enjoyed the course. The accommodation was great. I had a great time skiing with Rupes for 4 days and Angus for one day and felt I made progress. Although I didn’t ski with Dave he took the time to ask how things were going which was much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Catherine. Tignes Pre-Season 1st Dec 2007.
Just thought I`d drop you a line to say thanks for the fab time we had in Morzine in January. Paul St R was an excellent instructor and my confidence was much improved and consequently so was my ski-ing !!! We went ski-ing again in March, this time to Les Carroz/Flaine area and as a result of the excellent tuition from Paul I was able to ski all the mountains and seemed to ski for miles. It was heavenly to be able to ski like this. Once again, many thanks.
Many Thanks
Jackie Haseltine, Morzine Womens Weekend January 2008
Many thanks for a fantastic weekend in Morzine. Clare and I both thoroughly enjoyed it and have huge praise for both Luc and Annie. It’s great to get to the end of the course and feel that we each received the individual attention that we had been hoping for. Many thanks again. We’ll hopefully see you again next seaso.
Many Thanks
Chris and Claire Thomas, Morzine 3 day Performance Course January 2008
I thought I’d let you know that I’ve just returned from an excellent week in Courchevel.Everything was great – the snow, the weather, the other course participants and the hotel. I must make special mention of our group’s instructor – John Hendry – he was brilliant – encouraging, supportive, patient and good humoured – he certainly boosted my confidence and enabled me to really enjoy skiing.
I’m already looking forward to next year’s course!
Anne Campbell, Courchevel, Level 3 All Mountain Performance Course January 2008
Wanted to let you know we had a great time with loads of snow – amazing off-piste! The group was really good and we all jelled really well together, just as well as there were a few tumbles and skis off in the deep powder! Dave was a great instructor and he was a big help to me (June) in particular when I was struggling a bit in the deep powder. Please thank him very much from both of us, but me in particular.
Many Thanks
June,Geoff Davidson, Morzine, March 2007
Just wanted to say that the course was excellent last week. I learnt tons and Bryan was not only an excellent teacher but fun too. Anyone who can inspire me to ski in fog, snow and high winds has to be good! Looking at doing another one later in the season.
Best regards
Christine Allenet, Morzine 3 day Performance, January 2007
We had a fantastic time in Tignes, Angus taught us both, and we both improved and enjoyed ourselves enourmously. I think that this was the best week I’ve had with Inspired. We’ll definately be coming back.
Many Thanks

I wanted to say thank you for a great week pre-season skiing in Tignes at the end of November. Rupert was a great instructor and Dave was really helpful and friendly. I very much enjoyed my week. The video sessions were most helpful and I learnt alot during my week so thank you.
Thank you.
from Laura Colvin. Tignes All Mountain, December 2006
Just a quick note to say how much Brian and I enjoyed the course last week. Don’t know how we managed to find the only resort with decent snow that week but it was certainly great. We were fortunate to have Angus as our instructor and he was his usual entertaining self whilst giving us fantastic instruction – Brian was really impressed! We also met up with several ‘old’ friends which made it socially excellent. Well done once more for a high class operation and hope to repeat the course next year..
Best regards
Lisabeth, Brian Rodgers, Tignes All Mountain, December 2006
We have just arrived home after a great week in Courchevel (me, son, and husband). I felt I made a great deal of progress in the level 2 class with Dave, who was an excellent teacher.
Many Thanks
Maria Bairstow, Courchevel, Nov & Nerv + All Mountain , Jan 2006
Both Nic and I really enjoyed the teaching. David was great – wonderfully enthusiastic and my head is full of tactics and techniques to practice in March.
Thank you (and David and Angus) for being flexible and letting us do a 3-day non-package. FYI Hotel Tovets was excellent – right in the centre of town. No frills, but very comfortable, hot bath, shower, jacuzzi, sauna and right opposite the piste.
Warm Regards

Hi Sally. I was on the performance course in Courchevel last week. Can you please pass on my thanks to Angus for a fantastic weeks skiing.
